Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions about Vortex

What is Vortex and how does it work?

Vortex is a specialized tool built for the Solana blockchain, providing seamless functionality for creating, managing, and bundling tokens on pump.fun. Whether you're launching your next token project, managing multiple wallets, or optimizing your operations with CTOs, this tool simplifies the process and puts you in control.

Key capabilities include token creation on Pump.Fun, BONK, and Ray Launchlab, multi-wallet support, wallet bundling, auto-funding, advanced swap management, and anti-MEV protection.

How do I get started with Vortex?

Getting started with Vortex is simple:

  1. Start the bot with /start
  2. Access all features with /home
  3. Configure settings and preferences using /settings
  4. Set up launch and snipe presets quickly with /lsnipesettings

Vortex is designed for developers, creators, and DeFi enthusiasts who want to simplify their workflows and fully utilize the Solana blockchain's capabilities.

Is Vortex safe to use?

Yes, Vortex is built with security as a top priority. We implement advanced anti-MEV protection, secure wallet management, and encrypted communications. Your private keys are never stored on our servers.

What platforms does Vortex support?

Vortex supports multiple Solana platforms including Pump.Fun, BONK, and Ray Launchlab for maximum flexibility. We continuously add support for new platforms based on user demand and market developments.

What are the fees for using Vortex?

Vortex offers many completely free features:

  • SOL Disperse Transactions
  • Token Disperse Transactions
  • Token Creation
  • Bump Bot Transactions (no tax)
  • Spam Launcher

Fee-based transactions: Only swap transactions incur a 0.8% fee, automatically calculated and deducted at execution.

Exclusions: Dev Buy-In Create Transactions have no fee applied, preserving the original approach similar to pump.fun deploy.

What are the typical blockchain fees?

Solana network fees remain your responsibility. Typical costs include:

  • Token Creation: ~0.022 SOL (spam or other launches)
  • Bump Bot Transaction: ~0.0002 SOL (with 0.1 priority)
  • Other Transactions: Variable - depends on tip, usually just a few cents if using auto

Troubleshooting

Official troubleshooting guide from Vortex documentation

Swap Manager Issues

Problem: Swap Manager not loading, crashing, or freezing

Solution:

  • Switch to Phone Layout in Settings. It performs better with large wallet bundles.
  • If the layout option is missing, run /start then /home to reinitialize the UI.

Problem: Wallets show 0 SOL in Swap Manager but have funds

Solution: Switch from WORTH SOL view to SOL view to show actual wallet balances.

Problem: Only dev wallet shows up in Axiom/Photon, not other buys

Solution: This is a visual limitation of external explorers. Photon shows more accurate activity than Axiom, especially for bundled launches.

Sniping, Buying & Manual Actions

Problem: Only some sniper wallets bought during launch

Solution:

  • Most likely due to front-running. Vortex auto-pauses snipes for safety.
  • Use Launch + Bundle + Snipe for safer landing or increase your tip amount.

Problem: You selected wallets to buy, but nothing happened

Solution: Make sure the amount field is not 0. Type 9999 to buy the full balance (minus 0.03 SOL for fees).

Problem: Wallet shows balance but can't buy/sell

Solution: Ensure the wallet has at least 0.03–0.05 SOL for transaction fees.

Problem: Vortex shows "Operation Timed Out" error

Solution:

  • This usually happens during heavy traffic or node issues.
  • Retry with smaller amounts or wait for a backend update.
  • If SOL is stuck in a wallet, use the private key provided by the bot to import the wallet into Phantom and manually retrieve your funds.

Disperser, Mixer & Wallet Export

Problem: Hard Disperse funds stuck

Solution: Scroll up in the Telegram chat to find the disperser wallet's private key, import it into Phantom, and manually transfer funds.

Problem: Mixer didn't complete all transactions

Solution: Import the Mixer wallet private key and send the leftover funds manually.

Problem: Can't import private key / error: "not valid base58 string"

Solution:

  • Make sure there are no extra spaces or line breaks.
  • Click the private key directly to copy it cleanly.
  • Import it into Phantom > Add Wallet > Import Private Key.

General Issues

Problem: Bot not responding

Solution:

  • Send /start command to restart bot
  • Check if bot is under maintenance
  • Clear conversation and start fresh
  • Try accessing from different device

Problem: Connection issues

Solution:

  • Check your internet connection
  • Restart the Telegram app
  • Try using a different network
  • Try restarting the bot with /start if issues persist

Important Security Note

Always keep your private keys secure and never share them with anyone. Vortex provides private keys for wallet recovery purposes only. Import them into trusted wallets like Phantom when needed.
